The 2020 Commemoration offers a fine opportunity to prepare our heritage and the related information for the coming fifty years. This could mean designing visitor-friendly routes or establishing ties between heritage within Leiden and outside of it, for example in Plymouth or Delfshaven. It also means releasing information and critically evaluating and revising texts, for example in light of adding the American Native Nations’ perspectives.
